Installed PcAnywhere and no internet after

Hello,
Today i installed pcanywhere 10.5 on a pc running windows vista 64 bit home edition. As soon as the install finished it tried to update and there was no internet connection. I restarted the pc and got the same problem. The network sharing center told me that their was limited or no connectivity. I uninstalled PcAnywhere to only have the same problem. I have uninstalled the drivers for the lan card and reinstalled tham. I cant figure this one out. Please Advise

I dont think 10.5 works on 64bit vista... I thought 12 and up did.

Check your cable modem to make sure all the lights are blinking and make it says your connected.
If not try flushing out your internet cache using IE cleanup and again in windows clean up utility program.
If you have a recent system restore try that, but before you do that look at your network settings and see whats it saying if it has that exclamation point on it ask it to diagnose the problem usually about 75% it will point straight to problem and will or suggest ways to fix it.

I have cleared out IE and still nothing. In the setting i have tried getting a new ip, reseting the network controller. I know the internet connection is good because i am on it now. Limited or no connectivity. My IpV4 connectivity is local. My Ipv6 is limited. There are no flags in device manager(reinstalled the driver anyway). PcAnywhere must have changed a setting somewhere that i can not reset. It was the install for lan host if it helps. It is uninstalled. There is not a system restore available to go back to.

Ok, have you tried contacting technical support for PCAnyhere ?
I'm sure they might have an idea of what might be going on with the software and your internet settings.
The best thing I can think of right now is look at the program configuration setup and look at how it's setup your internet settings.

I got it. For some reason norton locked it down. I uninstalled norton and internet a plenty. Thanks for all you help.

Now there's a surprise.. glad to hear your problem was fixed by getting rid of Norton
