Hi.
I have just installed Firefox 2.0.0.3 on my computer to replace IE7, and I need help with adding your own search engines.

I read Creating OpenSearch plugins for Firefox but I can't understand it. Can anyone help with with (hopefully) step-by-step instructions...

Hello,

You can change or add a search engine for the search toolbar in Mozilla FireFox by clicking on the button to the left of the search field, and clicking Manage Search Engines.... You'll see a list of installed search engines. You can add a new search engine by clicking on the Get more search engines... link below the list.

Alternatively, you can go straight to the following FireFox Add-on page to add a search engine:

I know that (I'm not entirely stupid)
But Firefox only supplies the basic search engines. If you read in my original message, I wrote: "I need help with adding your own search engines."
I want to create my own search engines.
