Default I installed windows twice

I was trying to reformat but it just installed over the last windows. The user files are still there but I can't delete the user. And my 160gb hard drive is now full. . I spent my last $10 on a windows xp cd on craigslist and i ended up with just service pack 2. i have no access to a windows cd. is there any way i can go in and delete the biggest parts manually? I doubt there is any program that could help with this. Wish there was something that could clean up everything and leave windows like braind new. I have my stuff backed up on a flashdrive if there is.

So do you even have an XP CD? The CD you got from CL, all that was on it is XP's SP2 that you paid $10 for?

There is a video in the thread on how to reinstall XP without the CD. We can't explain it any better than that can.

Just create the XP CD using the method described and from there format and reinstall. You dont have to worry at all about the stuff in the C:\ Documents and Settings folder cause it will be erased with the format.

There has to be a i386 folder.

All the folders but the Temp Folder should be exactly what you see with a fresh install of XP.
