Default Hulu doesn't work...anyone else have this problem?

I have two computers and Hulu doesn't work properly on EITHER of them.

Same issue. Watching a video works fine in small screen mode. When I make it into Full Screen mode, the video "stutters" and gets choppy. The audio is still perfect, just the video.

What gives? So frustrating....I have DSL 3 MBPS Download, so should be fine. Other videos like on YouTube work fine....just Hulu.

I tried Checking off "Hardware Acceleation" on Adobe. That didn't work. I don't what to do. Tried changing screen resolution, that didn't seem to work.....

Read up in forums....can't figure it out.

FYI, Desktop Intel P4, 1 GB Mem, 80 GB HD, Windows XP, Intel 82865G Graphics Controller

Laptop, AMD Athlon X2, 3 GB, 250 GB HD, Vista Premium, ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

Big ups to anyone who can figure this out......so frustrating.\

OK, changing screen resolution on laptop worked....streams much better....didn't work on desktop though.

Have you tried updating Flash player and Shockwave? I don't use Hulu, so I'm not sure which it uses (or even QuickTime).

You may have to uninstall Flash and then reinstall it, but that's doubtful.

I'll try that tomorrow and see if that works. It uses Adobe Flash apparently.

Laptop I put at lowest resolution and it streams fine now, although picture in full screen mode not quite as sharp. But at least I can watch it.....

Thanks. Any other suggestions anyone, please let me know. Touch base tomorrow.

Yeah I just checked it out. It works fine for me. Reinstall flash like Trotter said.

Oops posted just a second late.

Well, I did reinstall Flash Player just for the heck of it. That wasn't the solution. Same choppiness.

The best I could do was change screen resolution to lowest setting. On my laptop, although picture is obviously not as sharp, it was streaming perfectly.

On desktop, changing resolution made it better but still slightly choppy. But watchable.

I think its just Hulu has issues. That never happens if I watch "TV" on ABC.com or CBS or whereever....just Hulu it seems.

I guess that's what I'll do to watch on Hulu (resolution change), but does anyone have other suggestions on what to test or try? Thanks......

Hulu is just fine. I have just watched several episodes on there just fine. To show i even took a screencap...

I just made it a window so show that i was looking at this topic when i fired it up to take the screencap. Mine is operating just fine with no lag, no jumping around, no nothing. It is jsut like i am watching TV on my PC.

Do you have the latest updates for Hulu? There was one just put out recently for the desktop app. It was just applied as i fired it up first thing today.

Working fine for me, too. I had a couple of half-second stutters, but I was clicking around in the video to see if it looked OK, so it was a buffer thing. :o Even full screen looked crystal clear.

I just updated my plug-ins a few days ago.

I don't know...just doesn't work. Tried again changing screen resolution on laptop and STILL not perfect, although somewhat better, I guess.

What bothers me is why is happening on BOTH systems, know what I mean? Is it my DSL? Router? The laptop is freakin' brand new....

Frustrating....something so basic doesn't work.

It isnt something so basic. It is a service that is based primarily on your internet connection. Since it is happening to both systems i would say it is either your DSL or router. Since 2 other people have confirmed that there is nothing wrong with the service, that only leaves 1 other option. Something wrong on your end.

Did you completely uninstall Flash, and then reinstall it? Someone had an issue with Yahoo Games in the Browser forum that required this measure.
