Default How to recover file delete from network access

Hi,

If I delete a file locally I can always get it back from the recycle bin as long as the recycle bin is not empty. But when I delete a file using the \\servername\c$ access to another machine, the deleted file will not appear on either the host and client machine. How can I recover such deleted file?

Thanks in advance!

You can try some Undelete software like Free Undelete but generally it's better to have a backup in place before you delete files.

A quick answer would be to restore from tape backup
