some people find my driver base guide too hard to understand how to integrate drivers into the xp cd. this is a much simpler guide

Head to

DriverPacks.net > DriverPacks > Intro

pick which files you need (you have to download 3 set of files for video drivers). I do each set of driver separately on a cd I.E. a Chipsets cd, a video drivers dvd (the 3 files equal over 700mb), a Network driver (the wireless and nic card drivers mixed together) cd and a sound card cd, because it will take your a hour or two to install 1 driver if you put them all on 1 dvd.

the video only shows you how to do one cd.

it is assumed that you can figure out on your own how to do the rest of them.

anyway down load the file. download and install 7zip

extract the file to a folder that you name properly (sound, chipset, etc), then burn it to cd.

head to device manager then click on the missing driver. you always install the chipset (smbus) driver first or your video or sound card driver might not get recognized.

click update driver. make sure you put the cd in when prompt. it will find the driver
