I have tried everything I can think of to change my wallpaper.
I put a new one on my desktop and I can't change it. Browsing in the display and clicking on a new one has no effect. I can change the colors under my folders but the wallpaper is stuck!
Can someone help. This is a new computer with XP home.

go to the folder where the Desktop background you want is and right click the picture and click set as desktop background

Thank you, I finally found the wallpaper by right clicking on the desktop--and going to customize and in the web tab unclicking the one I didn't want. That worked but I now have a new problem, my wallpaper covers the desktop except for about 1 1/2 inches on the right side. I have stretch clicked but I have to drag the wallpaper across the desktop and there is this ugly blank
space.

Any suggestions for that anyone?
