Yeah, I'd say so, too. Everyone (or mostly everyone) I talk to who have extensively used 7 say they love it. Ah, well. I still love my Vista

On the BSOD, what were the error codes? If Vista runs, 7 should run, too... it is based off of Vista, after all. The error codes should nail down the problem.

I woulnd't know, sorry. I think it's the motherboard, though. The software works on Vista but not 7.

Are you using Win7 RC Build 7100 or Win7 RTM Build 7600?

Does that mean you are "ditching" Vista as well?
Anyway that are thread is still current (waiting on Minidump) So we are yet to see if its hardware or software related

Actually I think I figured out why both BSoD's were happening. I hadn't installed some "Intel Chipset Inf Update Program", which didn't work on Windows 7 (the drivers for my motherboard didn't work on 7). I've reinstalled them on this Vista machine and things seem to be working out fine so far.
