hi , i wanted to know how to do a CLEAN install of XP Professional how i do it

put in the cd, boot to it. Delete the existing partition on the drive you want to install. Then select to install on that drive and format with NTFS using quick format.

Should do it. If you don't have a slipstreamed xpsp2 disk, you might want to do that first... It will save you a lot of time.
