Default How To Delete hiberfil.sys file

hiberfil.sys file is not visible in my windows partition.
i have tried going to control panel -> power and uncheck enble hibernation but this does not deleted the file.

what do i do to remove this file from my hard disk.
pls help me out as it is taking my 0.63 gb of space.

Well, is it visible or not? If the Hibernate function was once enabled, once you disable it (uncheck the option) and then reboot, the file will remove itself. Have you rebooted since you unchecked the option?

yes it was enable before but the file does not showup in the drive. then i disabled the option going to controlpanel > power > uncheck enable hibernation . even after disabling the option the file is not deleted, it eats upto 900 mb of space at present.
pls help me
