A friend has a laptop with two OS on it--XP and Windows ME. The XP doesn't work, because some jackpipe installed a pirated version and the security key won't register. The Win ME works fine for all she needs--internet, email, etc.

So I want to blow away the Win XP but can seem to figure out how...advice?

Get a bootdisk ( www.bootdisk.com) and format the partition XP is on
