Default How to create a bootable windows xp dvd with other software

I need help in creating a "bootable" cd or dvd with windows xp. This o/s will be installed on a pc that will have NO access to the internet. so basically all updates will have to be installed manually, after.

Does anyone know how I could create a bootable windows dvd ? DVD because, I plan on downloading the latest winamp, vlc, etc etc.. along with office 2007 all on one disc.

Would greatly appreciate any help in this matter.

You will need to use nlite. Download the updates manually and slipstream them.

Go to Windows Update on an install with the CD you are using. Note all available patches. Google 'Download KBxxxxxx'. Download each and slipstream into the installation.

What Shawn said will be the best way. It is a long process, but it is one that is worth taking. There may be other ways to do it, but i havent found them yet. Check in the sticky thread entitled Read First. There is a topic in there titled "How to keep XP fast and stable". That may be of assistance.
