Default How come a bunch of files are missing during Win XP install?

During install, a bunch of files are missing. Each time, it prompts me to either retry, skip the file, or quit the setup. I have two copies of two different Win XP CDs and both yield the same problems. I guess I need the original disc?

it could be a damanged disk, try coping the disk in anouther PC with Nero or somthing, if it can be read by that PC then u need a new CD-ROM in the machine you are trying to build
