I'm thinking of buying some software to protect my computer from hackers when I'm shopping online and sorting accounts and came across Hide My IP and Hide My Mac. Has anyone heard of these or tried them out and know if they actually work? Here are the links to them
I wouldnt bother with them. I actually tried Hide My IP and it slowed down the browsing A LOT. All it does it is connects to the same proxy or use stealth mode and it connects to a different proxy each time.
Osiris... would hiding your ip even stop hackers from getting banking stuff??
No, no it wouldnt. If your system is infected hiding your IP does ntohing.
