Default Hidden Bootworks.

I found a laptop that is running windows xp. It has a password on it and I can't get into it. I tried booting from a flash drive since the laptop has not optical drive. But it has some bootworks.exe Do you guys have any ideas as to what I can do?

First explain what you mean by "found a laptop". What was it just sitting there on your couch and it doesnt belong to a family member? We will not help if this thing was stolen.

I wouldn't think it would be appropriate to discuss bypassing a protection scheme even if the person locked themselves out of their own computer.
