Default Help Me With That...

i am using Netzero and it worked fine for me fast page loads with 53kpbs
today i logged in and i got 28.8kpbs connection and it takes like 2-3 minutes to load one page

i checked for viruses and stuff checked modem settings but still cant get it to work
tried different access numbers and still same thing

can somebody tell whats going on??

You have a slow connect speed. there is nothing that any of us can do to help you out. Sign out and sign back on and see if you get a faster connect speed. That will be the only thing that any of us can suggest really.

have you considered upgrading to dsl? its not that expensive now, about that of old aol(23 bux)
also it could be that something on the phone line is not disconnected all the way(eg phone off the hook, or a bad cable) have you tried disconnecting all the phones on the line that it is trying to dial on? if it is not that, then there is a bad line somewhere down the line. by any chance has the voice quality on your phone calls degraded at all?

a lot of things can happen using dial up that will slow you down like static, a phone call, bad connection, interference.....
