Default Help, computer random reset!!!-quad core-

i just got a new quad core processor, and for some reason every now and then my computer will just restet its self please some one help me

its the HS properly seated?, if it the intel pushpin ons, one is probaly loose

everything is completly installed proply had three diffrent people look at it all same its ok, witch motherboards are comptable with core 2 quad as i think that may very well be the problem

how can it be a PSU problem it reboots when i turn it on, does anyone think its the motherboard??

the psu is faulty, i runs then died randomlly

random reboots can be caused by many things, PSU is a common culprit. However as you've just upgraded your CPU you're right to start your trouble shooting there.

For starters Is it working properly?:
All 4 cores show up?
Performance as expected?
Does the BIOS recognise the Chip model?
stable under benchmark (prime95)?

Also check your mobo manufacturer website for compatability/issues/BIOS upgrade... I'm sure you don't need someone to do that for you.
