| I have a Dell Dimention running Windows XP pro and with 1G of memory. A program that I need to run is very memory intensive. Running it produced some unstable computer behavior and a RTP server unavailable error message. I was instructed to increase the system's desktom memory heap using the REGEDIT commands. After I increased the setting from 3M to 6M, my program worked great. Now I woudl like to load even more data (in the form of windows) to this program but am getting the same error messages I initially got even after attempting to increase the setting from 6M to 12M. It appears that there is a maximum limit to how much the desk top memory heap can be expanded to using REGEDIT. any suggestions out there? |

| How 'bout going to Control Panel --> System -->Advanced tab, and under Performance, click the settings button. From there, click on advanced, and virtual memory. Click the change button, and that will let you go as high as you want or the system will allow. Hope this helps.
