Default groundhog day computer

This is my first post so high.

I have a 800mhz intel p4 computer running windows 98se

since we started the new year (2005), whenever i start my computer, i get the error message

"windows protection error, please re start your computer"

If i then re start and go into safe mode, and then adjust the time to 31/december/2004, i can then start my pc as normal.

if i dont do this i keep getting the same w p message. If i open in safe mode after this the time clock re sets to 1980.

So every time i turn off the pc, i re set clock to 31 dec 2004. and as long as it is within 24 hours, i can restart as normal.

What can i do.

I would be grateful for any help
