| hello all, i've got a windows problem. I dont even use windows anymore, but my laptop needs it to run, so i use it instead of linux, anyway i got a problem that linux will never have: windows update is being wierd, and every time i start up svchost goes 100% CPU on me. The problem probably started becuase i shutdown the computer prematurely when i was trying to go into standby. Now whever i start, windows update appears, and stays at 0% downloading updates, no clue why. Then, CPU popped to 100% and i can say bye bye to music playback in windows media player 11 (no clue why, it works if i open if before svchost popped up). Also, no program can start up, including task manager and anything else (i have to do it quickly before svchost popps up) I'm thinking a DLL of some sort got corrupted, but i am not sure and would appreciate if anyone had a clue to how i can solve this. Thank you for reading this long problem. EDIT:PS: title should be "got an interesting/big problem, please help"
