Default got a few Vista problems

hey guys

came here yesterday trying to connect to the internet on my pc but it seems to be a bigger problem then that.

basically nothing works, tryed a dvd to have a message saying WMP stopped working, put gears of war in started it up (where nothing happened) to load it again for it to tell me its already running

cant change the date or time as it freezes up as does loading up the network config, control panel and my computer property's all end in it freezeing

loaded up windows live one care that told me it cant run because the system isn't right

could go on and on but i think you get the point.

the only hardware update i did was putting the gtx295 in there (from a 4850) and its been working nicely for 2 and a bit months.

thanks for any help guys & girls
