google desktop background

I am helping someone I know get their email and other stuff working. I cam across something I haven't seen before. For his desktop background, it has google in big letters on about 3/4 of the screen and the normal background is behind it. Here is a pic of it:

I can not figure out how to get that off.

Under 'Desktop' in Display Properties.
Click on 'Customize Desktop'
Go to 'Web' and delete the Google thing.
