Default Ghost drive ?...cant find

I've seen these "ghost" drives , or image drives?...available for free. Cant seem to find one searching several sites.
What I want is a DVD/cd ghost drive to burn to rather than an actual disc.
ALSO.....any views on Nero's RECODE.
Had trouble at download links , but I'll try again. Seems like nice
program.

"Virtual" drive is the word I couldnt come up with in above posting. Not sure which daemon tool is referred to in reply.
Having seconds thoughts anyway about Recode. Its a 17meg
download, and dont know what it will do that DVDShrink cant for much less disc space.

So....this Daemon tool is going to act as a virtual DVD drive that I can "burn" to , then view the results before burning to a disc?

(me again...talking to myself) Daemon tool needs .iso files to work with? So , need to convert .vob to .iso , "mount" to daemon tool drive , then view from there?? I dont know....
Why does anyone use daemon tool virtual drive? Videos can be run from hard drive easily......for games, so as not to need the disc?
BTW, Im now able to erase my DVD-RW discs, so I dont need a virtual drive anymore.
