Default Which Firewall to use??

Which of these 4 would be the best freeware Firewall??

ZoneAlarm - http://www.zonelabs.com/
Sygate Personal Firewall - http://smb.sygate.com/products/spf_standard.htm
Kerio Personal Firewall - http://www.kerio.com/kpf_home.html
Outpost - http://www.agnitum.com/download/outpost1.html

I've to install one on my home PC but don't know which to use. Are they all the same or would one be better than the other. I've no technical experience (just know how to use a PC!) so i'd love some advice!

I use ZoneAlarm.

Windows Service Pack 2 comes with a free Windows Firewall. I worked fine until SP2 decided to take over my computer. I had to elimiate the sucker. So i am sticking with ZoneAlarm.

I've always like ZoneAlarm, but Sygate is pretty good too. Personally, I would suggest saving up the money (especially if you're using cable or DSL) and getting a hardware firewall. I have the Netgear FVS318. It's good and pretty affordable, has routing and switching capabilities, and supports 8 simultaneous VPNs.

According to MicrosoftÂ’s site http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=884130, ZoneAlarm wonÂ’t work if I install SP2. So its one or the other? Which should I install??
