I performed some maintenance on my computer system recently and since then, Firefox has been crashing from time to time. And firefox is just running slow in general. This is unusual for my system.

I downloaded a registry defragmenter from Auslogics and used it.

I also went to secunia dot com, and checked to see what needed updating. I updated Java, Adobe, and some media players.

I'm not sure what is slowing it up. I checked my system at PCPitstop and all seemed fine.

Any suggestions on how to analyze what's going on? Thank you.....

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? Sounds like the registry stuff clipped something it shouldn't have.

Yes, that could be the problem.

You can never hurt yourself with going in and uninstalling it and then re installing it. Just for safe measures.
