I have an old CD of MS Small business. Actually--2 CDs

I've lost the product key code when I moved--and I can't install the SM software now.

Never needed it on my new machine--untill my wife started a home business. Now I can't install it.

Is there a way to get the product key right from the CD?

I hate calling MS.

sorry to disappoint you , youll have to call MS if the software was installed then maybe but just like that from the cd's not possible

The product key is not stored on the Cd call MS

wat version is it....some of the 97 stuff was stored on cd...i found a product key for one of mine...

To my knowladge MS never puts product keys in their CDs by default. Though I have ran into VB Studio which did not have the CD key on it but automatically entered it for you.

i've never found one on a 2000 cd, sry, i had a office 97 SB cd and i found a code under the setupp.??? file somewhere...
