The other day i ran my spyware program and it picked up kazaa, not thinking i had it delete it for some reason. Later i realize that all my files that i had in my kazaa shared folder were also gone. is there anyway to get them back.

If the shared folder was just a shortcut to the root folder, they should all still be there, you just have to look.

If you were sharing a folder with the source files in it, and they weren't backed up, and you deleted it they are probably gone. Check the recycle bin right??

Theres lot's of free data recovery software you can try, maybe someone else could recommend some.

Simply do a windows search for the "shared file" from Kazaa. Windows should find it and it should contain all your porn.....ah, ooppps, MP3's I suggest investigating the use ol Limewire. Kazaa is horrible....or if you need freeware access to p2p use shareaza. Kazaa is linked to a whole bunch of ad pop ups and sharware......it sucks. There was, at one time, Kazaa Lite which was realtively clean but I have no idea if it's still around or not.

If Kazaa was destroyed that is a good thing. Kazaa is a evil corp of scandals and liers. Loaded with filth, spyware and such. There are better programs for you to use good ridence. Try Shareaza it's a good open source that connects to Gnutella1&2, torrent, and edonk. Another good one is Bearshare.
