I cant delete these pesky word files because the original location of the cant be found. how can I delete these files what can I do

What word files are you talking about? Actual documents? Temp docs? Templates? Help us understand the problem a little better.

These are actual word documents that I have in my pc for about 6months. now I wish to delete them but the pc is saying that the file is non existent what is it that safe mode will allow me to do?

Where are they stored? On the hard drive? In the My Documents folder? On a flash drive? CD? External hard drive?

They are stored on the C drives in the my documents folder

Hello,

Have you tried from Safe Mode? Have you tried to sue something like Force Delete?

What's the error message you get when trying to delete the files?
Are Word documents the only files you can't delete?
Are they the only files stored in that folder?
Can you create new files there?
Are these documents you created? Or did you download them from somewhere?
