Can you tell me why IE won't open a new window from apps like outlook and messenger? I get an error such as "no application exists for this task" or just no action whatsoever. Sometimes it works if I already have an IE window open. Some links actually work just fine as well, but only a couple. Very strange, I am hoping that some spyware didn't change my settings on me in the registry or anything hidden like that.

Ok, this is what I would do: First I would download some sort of spyware program, just to see if spyware is the problem; if and when you do this and IE still doesn't work, I would download a different browser. Set the new browser to default so when you click a link from outlook or messenger it will direct you to your recently installed browser. I hope you find a solution, good luck!

Yeah, I enjoy using Firefox, with tabbed browsing, it's awesome, i really recommend it.
