servo.tsc is on a distinguished road
Default explorer.exe keeps crashing
I have a computer i am trying to fix but every time i try to get to add remove programs or my computer explorer.exe crashes. i know the pc has a virus and spyware on it. Short of formatting the pc are there any suggestions on how to stabilize the computer enough to install say avg or spybot or adaware?

try safe mode.

Safe Mode will be your only bet. Either that or something like ERD Commmander to restore to a previous point.
