Default Excel video issue, cell data missing

I have several computers (1 hp laptop, 1 hp desktop, 1 lenovo laptop) that when you open a larger sized excel file many of the cells appear blank as you scroll up and down the document. If you open a window such as internet explorer on top of it, and then minimize IE, the data will appear in the cells. This does not happen all the time but very frequently. If you take a screen shot of the missing data and then paste it into something like paint, the data is in the screen shot. The data is just not displaying through the monitor. any ideas?

Default Re: Excel video issue, cell data missing

uninstall & reinstall excel (or office)

look for updated video drivers and monitor drivers

uninstall & reinstall these drivers

run memtest86 Memtest86.com - Memory Diagnostic

run malware scans

most likely in that order
