Does this little programme work? Can you really ever eliminate every single file on your computer that forensic cannot trace, such as EnCase.

I didn't think you could due to the nature of disks. They store them in cluster on the disk surely is not as straight forward as deleting several times.

They say it clears all of these clusteres. Are they ever really gone?

no, delete it, dont buy it, uninstall it.

No they are not gone the best you can do is smash up your disk and melt it down

If you don't want destructive forces attacking your hard disk use the Royal Canadian Wipe, DoD 7 Sweep, or a Gutman with Gutman being the preferred method of the above. But yes the data can still be restored.

To do so I recommend: Darik's Boot and Nuke

- Linux Kernal Based Live CD
- GNU Licensed, Open Source, Free
- Does all of the methods listed above and a few others
- Can be set to do another swipe automatically after the first one is done
- ISO file is only 37 or so megs
- Once Program has started you can remove the CD and let it continue Nuking
- Works with FAT16, FAT, VFAT, NTFS, ext2, ext3, reiser, and other file types

Ok warez I'm a fan of that program used it and love it. What do you have against it?

because it deletes **** that dont need to be deleted and screws up users systems, not all the time but it does happens, same thing goes for most reg cleaners

Evidence Eliminatore is a great program as long as you are not a terrorist or a porn man

regular software can't bring the files back up after EE, but the government and ontrack have software that can. they can recover everything that had ever been deleted. that's why a hammer is the best bet

Thats the entire point of the Program Warez it kills everything... After it's done with it's purpose of deleating everything there is no problem left. All that is needed is to re install the OS just as if the hard drive was new.
