Default Error : Cordbg.exe (ehshell.exe)

i am running Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 on my PC.

the problem is that when i run the Media Center application (ehshell.exe) it gives me the following error:

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled

Process id=0x8e8 (2280), Thread id=0xfb0 (4016).

Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.

WHen i click on Cancel it says the following :

Registered JIT debugger is not available. An attempt to launch a JIT debugger with the following command resulted in an error code of 0x2 (2). Please check computer settings.

cordbg.exe !a 0x8e8

Click on Retry to have process wait while attaching a debugger manually.
Click on CANCEL to abort the JIT debug request

(If i click cancel....it terminates the application)

PLEASEEEEE help me......as i have bought the MCE 2005 for very high price.....please tell me where to find a registered JIT debugger

It sounds as if your install went bad. Something is corrupt that is for sure. You shouldnt have this problem with MCE.

Try to do a repair install.
