Default encryption for chief officers

i'd like to encrypt some data on a file server for the company's chief officers. I'd like to authenicate the user via their windows logon. EFS is a possibilty, but some time ago i found software that could be purchased that could break efs encryption.

does anyone have a recommended solution?
