Default easier unattended install

hi, I have tried many times to recreate a windows XP and windows 2000 unattended disk and have failed many times, is it possible to say create the answer file, save it on a floppy as either an sif or txt file then go to a command prompt, type X:\i386\winnt(where x is the letter of your cd rom drive) and then type a parameter or switch that tells it to go to the a drive and find the unattend file? this woul dmake it VERY easy for me and if aonyone knows how to do it please answer soon, thx in advance

look into sysprep. Much easier than an unintended install.
or learn about ghost. and building DVD's with Ghost installed to reimage. Very cool stuff there...
