Just install it from the DVD on a seperate partition. Just like you would any other OS.

I installed it on a seperate partition on its own hard drive......did I miss the option in setup for dual boot?

Can I get my Vista Bootloader back and reinstall 7 since I obviously did it wrong?

When you boot what do you see? Does it boot to Vista or Win7? Win7 uses the BCD just like Vista. So all you will have to do is get EasyBCD and add a Vista entry.

It boots straight into Win7.

I think I got the link for EasyBCD on another website that you post on......anyways. I ran it but it says I already have a bootloader on my D: which is where Vista was. Maybe I just need to read a tutorial on EasyBCD or something when I get home today. I don't really know what to do with it.

BTW, I cannot wait for the release of Windows 7.....I think it has a chance to be Microsoft's best ever. People will complain as usual, but so far I am loving everything about it.

It automatically added my XP entry (shows it as Earlier Windows Operating Systems, or something like that), even though I installed 7 on a separate HDD completely.

Shhh don't talk about it! I use BootIt NG to get around all of this hassle.

Were both drives plugged in when installing 7 or unplugged as a stand alone. The installer would or should have detected the Vista installation and being the newer version automatically added Vista in as an option. If the Vista drive was unplugged then you set 7 up as a stand alone and to work with EasyBCD a little more.
