Default Dreaded XP Blue Screen of Death

I recently starting receiving the dreaded blue screen in my XP Pro machine. This is the error I get:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Stop: 0x0000000A (0x0000004, 0x0000002, 0x0000000, 0x804e6617)

Any ideas? Thanks.

that one has been posted before, I can't remember what the solution is but if you do a search on the forums for irq_not_less_or_equal you should find the thread.

If you have Zone Alarm installed, go in safe mode and uninstall it.

90% chance your ram is bad run memtest http://www.memtest86.com/

Ram can go bad even without a sign of warning or can come defective from the factory.
