I tried Office 2007, but i really like Office 2003 better. Much easier to use. I'm not used to having 4 tabs, i'm used to the old file menu.

In the first 24 hours since going live, Microsoft counted 200,000 downloads of Office 2007 Beta 2. While the company provided no estimates of how many users it expected to try the new release, Microsoft officials said they were excited by the numbers. BetaNews alone pushed over 5,500 downloads of Office 2007.

“We’re seeing a ton of interest in the 2007 Office system Beta 2," a company spokesperson told BetaNews. "200,000 downloads in the first 24 hours! We’re thrilled to see our customers are as excited as we are for this big milestone.” Not all was smooth sailing, however, as the rush to download left some users complaining about "server busy" errors and slow speeds.

The 2007 Office system is designed to increase individual impact, simplify collaboration, streamline business processes and content management, and improve business insight. Microsoft Learning can help you examine the new products by providing you, for a limited time, free training, e-learning, books, and skills assessments. Classroom training is also available for IT professionals and Home and Office workers.

Actually, this isn't that bad. Uses up a bit more memory than Office 03, but alot better than the "Pre-Release" version i have on DVD.

Microsoft talks about Office 2007 Ultimate
For those who don't know about it yet, Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate Edition is, as Ultimate Edition, a sum of every features of the product. The actual Ultimate edition contains the following products:

-Word
-Excel
-PowerPoint
-Outlook
-Publisher
-OneNote
-Groove
-Access
-InfoPath

But all those features have a price, which is already mentioned: 679 US$. We currently don't know if it will offer special services like those that will be available to Windows Vista Ultimate Edition users.
