Is it possible to extend an NTFS partition in Windows XP Pro using systemrescuecd?

I went to the website and got very confused very quickly. I understand that systemrescuecd has a lot of different tools. If you know anything about it could you explain in beginner techie english what this offers?

A direct link to the download I would need would be helpful as well. I couldn't decrypt the website enough to be sure I was downloading what I needed.

I understand enough to know that I need to download to a CD and boot to the cd rom to run but that's about it.

There are other tools which you can use like Partition Magic 8.0.

There was a post not long ago deicussing HDD partition, try searching for it.

System Rescue CD is free. I just need it to extend a partician so I was hoping I wouldn't need to purchase a program that I would use only once.

Another freeware program I have found is called Ranish Partician Manager. Any thoughts on this program relative to what I need to accomplish?
