Hello, when i boot up my computer it comes up with lots of black screen with writing and sais verifying dmi pool data. what does this mean? can i have it so it does not come up and just have the windows xp loading screen on?

I'm not really sure but I think this is to do with your CMOS, there might be a setting you can change in CMOS or in the event that your CMOS is corrupt you could try clearing it (make sure you're familiar with the appropriate settings for your machine first).
