|  Disk Boot Failure, Insert System Disk And Press Enter I am getting this message and i have no idea why. it is a homemade comp, but it recognizes both CD drives and the HD. But i insert vista and it just says that. Am i doin it rite? Help appreciated. |

| Re: Disk Boot Failure, Insert System Disk And Press Enter Are these ATA or SATA optical Drives? If ATA make sure you set the master slave jumpers correctly. Try different cables and different IDE/sata ports. Make sure install disk is clean, no damage.

| Re: Disk Boot Failure, Insert System Disk And Press Enter What is your boot order? CD first the Hard drive? HAve you installed? Is the drie you installed to the system and boot drive? Is it marked as active?
