Hello there,

I recently purchased a new mouse and found mouse lag to be terrible.
I have narrowed the lag issues down to vsync, when vsync is enabled in game, my mouse movements are noticeably slow and unresponsive.

Disabling vsync in games is easy, but I really want to be able to disable vsync on the desktop, as the lagging issue remains. Vista uses vsync on the desktop, and I wanted to find a way to disable this.

I have already tried disabling vsync for all programs in nvidia control panel, and I found no options for it under windows.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks...

That is the only information i could find about it. Are you using the latest drivers for Vista? I looked in the services area and vsync is not listed so that is out. There is not real way i see other than trying to modify the stuff posted by Microsoft.
