They dont stay where i put them!!
I have a 17" crt, and i have my resolution at 1280*1024, when ever i place my icons where i want them they stay there untill i shutdown/restart my computer... then when i start up and log in there all bunched up over on the left.

It stresses my out cos i have quite a few icons that i need on my desktop and its difficult to find when there in no order at all! So i end up spending about 10 minutes organizing them lol

Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

Right-click on the Desktop, go to Arrange Icons By and uncheck Auto-Arrange
