Default Deleting pictures out of Desktop tab

I change my desktop background quite frequently and I have amassed quite a long list of files in my Desktop tab under Display properties, is there any way I can delete some of these files out of this tab?

Can always look in C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper and see if they're in there.

Only thing in that folder is pictures that come with Windows XP.

Also look in your My Pictures folder.

You either have to delete the original picture, or move them to a different folder.

Got it figured out, thanks guys. Didn't realize pictures in the "My pictures" folder where included there automatically.
