Default Deleting files(?) in Regedit

The other one got locked so I checked with the moderator and he said it's okay to post again as long as I don't mention 'something' against the rules.

How do I delete files under Regedit?Usually I go to Run and then type Regedit.Only recently I discovered in there that there is still a trace of the THQ Punisher game I installed called Pun.exe.Also left behind are remnant files of indie free adventure games I downloaded called JB5 and JB6.Those are the alphabets of the games titles.I assumed all these would be gone when I uninstalled the games but they were still there.

I deleted them manuallyafter going into Regedit but 3 days later they reappeared there when I searched for them.I deleted them again and they reappeared again days later. Are there any permanent ways of deleting them.

There are many MANY locations in the registry that theses files are located. It may take hours to delete them all.

Did you run CCleaners Registry cleaner?

Sometimes that happens and they are spread out in different places but that's for other files.
But for these 3 files they usually appear again at the very same directory I deleted it at.At regedit I click search then type in the word Pun.For three days it won't appear but on the 3rd day it appears in the same directory.

Is CCleaners something to be downloaded from the net?

Cc cleaner seems to be a program that lets you get rid of files by ticking on the squares and then going ahead with the delete. Is there any other program I can use to delete files manually and can guarantee the Regedit file is gone?

Better example would be My computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Out look Express\5.0\Default settings\Recent stationary list.

Someone else made a drawing of some sort called Citrus Punch.htm. and others.
I highlighted all of them and right clicked to delete.I know i can't delete the (Default) so I left it alone.

But then after an hour I checked, all of them reappared in this exact same directory

The example you give would re-appear every time you loaded Outlook Express as it is tied to a email. Unless you have deleted that email, and removed it from the deleted items area as well to make sure that there is no trace of it anywhere within Outlook Express then it will re-appear as OE still has the email within the program which causes the Registry Key to come back.

The only way to be 110% positive that the registry entry is gone is to make sure that all traces of the program that used the entry is gone with something like Revo Uninstaller. After that you could use CCLeaner or Eusing Registry Cleaner or a Registry Crawler program. Other than there there is no 110% way to guarantee that it is gone because it is continually being accessed when you start up the program in question. So you have to find a way to remove it from within the program and then it will stop reappearing.
