Cool Defrag Software

I am looking at buying a third party defrag program and there are three that I am looking at, can you give me your input, pros, cons, good, bad, ugly.

Here they are:

Diskeeper

PerfectDisk 2008 Professional

O&O Defrag 10 Pro

Thanks

Edward

I use O&O Pro, and it is sweeeeeet. Set it and forget it... it defrags when you need it in the background without slowing you down.

It's nice to have 0% fragmentation...

Here's trial versions of each:
|MG| Diskeeper Professional Edition 2008 12.0.758.0
|MG| PerfectDisk 2008 Build 39
|MG| O&O Defrag Professional Edition 10.0.1634

Hey PreacherMan,
Welcome to Tech-Forums!!!

I've used O&O too, and I have nothing bad to say about it. It works, and it's better than Windows' default defrag program.

I have Diskeeper on my desktop and O&O on my laptop. Both work perfectly. Like Trotter said, it's nice to have 0% fragmentation all the time. The windows defrag will leave some fragmented files. O&O and Diskeeper don't.

I like O&O it is great. But Ashampoo Magical Defrag is also worth mentioning.

I used Diskeeper and it has never failed to provide me with stellar performance. I actually liked it enough to purchase it, but O&O is also nice. I'd vote for Diskeeper though.

I use Diskeeper. That's 3 for Diskeeper and 3 for O&O.

Why do you have Diskeeper on your desktop and O&O on your laptop? Why not have just one, and if you were to have just one which one would it be?

I noticed perfectdisk 2008 did not make it.
