customize folders in vista ultimate

I can't seem to customize my music folders in vista ultimate. I want to add a picture for each folder but it doesn't change when i select it. Any ideas?

Are you using the Thumbnail View?

It says its being viewed as "large icons".

Have you just placed the picture inside the folder and see what happens? That is the thumbnails view and will show the picture inside the fodler on the folder. Try that.
