Heya folks, go easy on me, first post ever!!

I have set up some excel templates for my collegues at work to use and one of the default peramiters is that it print double sided.

Even though I have set this as default and no one else is savvy enough to reset it, I still get complaints about excel only printing on 1 side per page.

Can anyone suggest why this might happen? Should excel loose this information for no apparent reason and if so, can I fix it?

Excel - Page layout and printing

Are you sure this is a shortcoming of Excel and them not flipping th paper over? I mean does everyone complain or is it just a select few. Try it yourself. If you can get it to work then there is nothign wrong with it. It is them who are not doing something right.

As it stands, I have set the printers (ye olde HPs) to flip the page over for them... It seems that the problem only occurs when they open sheets that they have printed (on both sides!) and saved before hand. It seems that when they open them excel looses the double sided selection.

As yet no one has remembered to call me when it happens which is typical!

Will repost if I find anything else in the meantime.
