the other day when i turnd on my comp right b4 it was about to load windows it said " corrupt or deleted file, cant open windows" and it gave me the file name C:\Windows\system32\config\system
and like i said it wouldnt open windows. this has happend twice since put in my DVD player, i was wondering if anyone has had this problem or might know what went wrong and how to fix it. thanks

Is it just happening when you install the DvD drive or when you install the software for it? Either that or it's viral.

well i didnt load any drivers for the dvd its jst working with the drivers xp put on for it.

and for the repair, i couldnt figure it out, ive nvr did that b4, but thnx for the help
