So anyways, I cut and pasted about 15gb of music from one folder to another. It happened suprisingly fast. The onyl pay off of course was that like 6 gb's of it or so were corrupted; mixing of songs together, songs going in and out, etc. I've already deleted all the corrupted files, but can anyone tell me what exactly happened?

run chkdsk x: /r on the HDs. this will check and mark bad sectors. replace x with the drive letter.
